LashViva vs Adorn Peptide Lash Growth Serum: Prostaglandin-Free Lash Serums Compared (Australia)

LashViva vs Adorn Peptide Lash Growth Serum: Prostaglandin-Free Lash Serums Compared (Australia)

Two peptide lash serums, both labelled prostaglandin-free, with very different price tags. Here is how LashViva and Adorn Cosmetics compare on what each brand publishes, and how to choose.

The Beauty Desk · Lash & Brow Care · 7 minute read

Quick answer: LashViva ($35, 3 ml) and Adorn Peptide Lash Growth Serum ($64, size not shown) are both peptide-based and labelled prostaglandin-free on their own product pages. LashViva costs less and lists a 12-week guarantee; Adorn publishes a shorter ingredient list. Which suits you depends on price, ingredients and guarantee terms.

Disclosure: Eastern Curlew sells LashViva, so we have an obvious interest. Competitor details below are as published on their website on 2 November 2026. We have not tested Adorn’s serum.

What is a prostaglandin-free lash serum?

Some lash products contain prostaglandin analogues, the same family of compounds used in prescription eye drops for glaucoma. Peptide serums are formulated without them and aim to condition lashes instead. A “prostaglandin-free” label is the brand’s own statement; it is worth reading the full ingredient list yourself.

On the regulatory side, here is only what we could verify. The Therapeutic Goods Administration’s evaluation report for a bimatoprost 0.03% eyelash product (Latisse) describes it as treatment for hypotrichosis of the eyelashes, assessed as a prescription medicine; that product has since been withdrawn from the Australian register (TGA AusPAR). We have not independently confirmed how the TGA treats every cosmetic lash serum, so check tga.gov.au if that matters to you.

Adorn details as published on their website on 2 November 2026. LashViva details from our product and guarantee pages. Last checked 2 November 2026.

Which serum costs less per use?

LashViva is $35 for 3 ml, about $11.67 per ml. Adorn is $64 but does not show a size, so we cannot calculate a price per ml and will not guess. If you want a like-for-like cost, check the carton size with Adorn before buying. Adorn’s site also shows free shipping from $139; our shipping is calculated at checkout by Australia Post, with free shipping depending on current promotions. Eastern Curlew ships to Australia and New Zealand; delivery options, prices and times are confirmed at checkout, and free shipping is a promotion that may change.

How do the ingredient lists differ?

Both contain Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17. Adorn’s list is shorter and adds Myristoyl Hexapeptide-16, plus gums as thickeners and sodium benzoate as a preservative. LashViva’s list is longer, with Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1, Oligopeptide-10, Biotin, panthenol, plant extracts such as ginseng and pumpkin seed, and Tocopherol. A longer list is not automatically better, and a shorter one is not automatically gentler. If you have known sensitivities, compare both lists against your allergies and patch test first.

How long until you notice a difference?

Neither brand gives a guaranteed timeline. Adorn says changes may appear from about 4–6 weeks with best results around 12 weeks. Our own page gives 4–8 weeks in one place and 8–10 weeks in another, and directions of 12 weeks of consistent use, so we suggest planning for 12 weeks. Results vary between people, and lashes grow in cycles, so progress photos in the same light help.

What are the guarantee and returns terms?

Our satisfaction guarantee page says that if you have seen no results after 12 weeks of consistent, instructed use, you may be eligible for a refund. You need dated before and after photos, the request must be made within 4 months of receiving the product, it covers the first purchase only, excludes shipping and allergic reactions, and applies only to products advertised with the option. Adorn’s product page did not state a guarantee; its returns policy may say more, so check it.

Which one suits sensitive eyes or lash extensions?

Both brands say their serum suits sensitive eyes and lash extensions, and both are statements by the brand, not independent findings. Adorn also advises checking with a health professional if you have very sensitive eyes, an eye condition or are under ophthalmic care. We say the same: if you use prostaglandin eye drops for glaucoma, ask your doctor before adding any lash product. Our page advises avoiding use during pregnancy or nursing.

How should you choose between them?

  • Budget matters most: LashViva is lower in price at $35, though we are the seller.
  • You prefer a short ingredient list: Adorn’s is shorter.
  • You want a stated guarantee: ours is on our guarantee page; Adorn did not state one on the product page.
  • You want a stated discard date: Adorn publishes 3 months after first use.

Frequently asked questions

Is Adorn’s lash serum prostaglandin-free?
Adorn’s product page describes it as a peptide-based, prostaglandin-free formula. That is the brand’s own statement, as published on 2 November 2026. Its published ingredient list contains peptides rather than any prostaglandin analogue, but read the label on your bottle and ask the brand if unsure.

Is LashViva prostaglandin-free?
Yes, our LashViva product page describes it as prostaglandin-free, and its published ingredients are peptides, plant extracts, biotin and panthenol. Our product pages describe BlinkBliss and the Lash & Brow Power Duo as prostaglandin-free too, the same as LashViva. Check the ingredient list on your pack to confirm for yourself.

How much does LashViva cost compared with Adorn?
LashViva is $35.00 AUD for 3 ml (about $11.67 per ml). Adorn Peptide Lash Growth Serum is $64.00 AUD as published on 2 November 2026, with no size shown, so a price per ml cannot be worked out. Shipping and any promotions differ by store.

How long should I use a peptide lash serum before judging it?
Both brands point to about 12 weeks for best results, with Adorn noting early changes from around 4–6 weeks. Apply consistently, take photos before you start, and compare at 12 weeks. Stop and seek advice if you get redness, swelling or irritation.

Can I use a lash serum with lash extensions?
Both brands say their serum is suitable with extensions. Apply it to a clean lash line, avoid soaking the extension bonds, and ask your lash technician if you are unsure. Remember these are brand statements rather than independent test results.

Can I get a refund if a lash serum does not work?
Our guarantee requires 12 weeks of use, dated photos and a request within 4 months of delivery; it covers a first purchase and excludes shipping and allergic reactions. Adorn did not state a guarantee on its product page. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply either way.

What we left out and how we compared

We compared only what each brand publishes on its own product page and our policy pages, last checked 2 November 2026. We did not test Adorn’s serum, did not compare review ratings (the counts are too small and too different to be fair), and left out percentages and “clinically proven” style claims because we cannot verify them for either product. If anything here is out of date, email info@easterncurlew.com.au and we will correct it.
